We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Taupō team. This position is ideally suited to someone who has a current CPEng practicing certificate or on the pathway to becoming certified, with a wide range of experience in the field of land development & contract management. You will be able to work autonomously as a Civil Engineer whilst playing a key role in the wider Engineering team across several Cheal offices. This is a key opportunity for a long-term association with a professional team whilst playing a part in the ongoing growth of the company.

 

If you can display the following traits, we would love to hear from you:

  • A Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years' experience within the New Zealand Civil Engineering infrastructure environment, including earthworks, roading, sewerage, water supply and stormwater projects in both residential and commercial fields
  • Proven experience in job procurement and pricing
  • Exceptional Client and Project management skills
  • A desire to grow and develop people and business
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D or 12D
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
